Sit still? No way!

Well, mobility has officially entered our home. And we wonder why we wished it upon ourselves. Sunday afternoon, we heard Meredith crying during her nap and entered her room to find this...

Now not only does she crawl around, but she pulls up on everything--fun for her but kind of stressful for Mom.

Now if I could just get her to fold it.

Fashionista

One fun thing about little girls is the fun moms get to have dressing them up. Meredith's hair is now long enough to style, too, so we have lots of fun (or I do). In the tradition of Aunt Carolyn and Emma, we are trying pigtails.

Although, I try to dress Meredith nicely and fashionably, sometimes she alters her own outfits to conform to her particular fashion sense. The strawberry nightgown does look more dramatic!

When not fixing hair or clothes, Meredith has been perfecting the use of the sippy cup. I thought she might struggle with this concept, as she still doesn't understand she has to tip her bottle to get the milk. But, water...hey that's a no brainer, I guess.

After a long day of fashion and sippy cups, a girl just has to relax and spend some time with her grandpa.

January Fun

Meredith has tried eating crackers in the past, but each instance ended with gagging and choking. We decided to give it another try, however, and this attempt was a success!

Meredith has cracker eating well in hand.

Has anyone seen my cracker?

The Many Faces of Meredith

Sometimes when Meredith is naughty, I make her drop and give me 20. :)

Her new favorite happy face--we love it!

This face, believe it or not, indicates that she likes what we're feeding her.

Meredith, alas, has grow too big for her baby tub, so last week we got her this one.

I think she likes it, don't you?

Lastly, we want to wish Meredith's Aunt Marianne a very happy birthday. She daily lives with and ministers to the man in the picture below--she obviously deserves a very special day. Happy Birthday, Marianne!

Holidays in CA

Although Christmas was several weeks ago, it's probably never too late to post pictures of our holiday. Greta's whole family was in San Diego for Christmas, and while we have some pictures of Dad, Mom, Mark, Marianne, and Luke, we know you all really just want to see pictures of Meredith and Alexis.

Bring on the presents!

Happy Birthday, Grandpa Forman

Today is Greta's dad's birthday. Since Meredith doesn't have the words to "Happy Birthday" memorized yet, she wished to express her birthday greetings in another way.

Things I Can Do

Sit around wearing my bunny slippers (thank you, Aunt Holly)

Watch football with Daddy

Hang out with Aunt Rebecca

Sport a mustache
(What is this a milk mustache? Well...it was milk at one point. Josh thought this picture was gross, I thought it was funny [of course, I deal with spit up all day long].)
